The deep waters surrounding Efate and the Vanuatu Islands are an ideal fishing ground for anglers who strive to meet the challenge of catching the big one. Abyssal depths can be reached only a few miles away from the shore of nearly all islands and the variety and number of fish is amazing.
After a 10 minute cruise from Havannah Harbour (a 50 minute car drive from Bauerfield International Airport, Port Vila), you’re in a world-class fishing zone where Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna and the usual pelagics abound. This, combined with the lee coastline, provides relatively calm seas, which makes Vanuatu the ultimate destination for game fishing.
